Peaks & Valleys
Making Good and Bad Times Work for You-At Work and in Life
In this tale, a young man who lives a mundane existence in a valley
meets an old man who lives peacefully on a peak.
During the course of their conversations,
the young man learns that the very same values and ideas that
keep the old man happy on his peak apply to those in the valley as well.
Quoted this: "The most common reason you leave a peak too soon is arrogance,
mansquering as confidence.
The most common reason you stay in a valley too long is fear,
mansquering as comfort."
Had encountered many people like this in my life..
so well, catch this book in the bookstore if you are free :)
